The sun comes up

It seems that the sun finally comes out ... the winter has been hard this year, rainy, cold, snow, storms, strong winds ... but the sun always ends up coming out!

We are still very busy trying to make GOGOA a technologically leading company, with new products aimed at improving people's mobility. The latest products developed are BELK, a knee recuperator and BESK, an assistant to the mobility of the arms. You can see BESK in the photo ...


On the other hand, I had the opportunity to visit the Ibai restaurant in San Sebastian again. You know it's a small weakness that I have, but it's that Alicio, the chef and owner of the restaurant, is a crack. Super products and perfect preparation without nonsenses ... a total luxury! Look in the photos the kokotxas, the egg with potatoes and truffle, what flavor the vegetable stew ...





On another level, but also recommended, are El Cid, a restaurant in Villarcayo, where I was surprised by the appetizers and the cooked lamb, (not roasted as usual in Castilla) ....



... and the restaurant Camarote de Laredo, with a good product but in which it was surprising that the fish only was prepared by them on the grill. Even so, the hake´s neck was magnificent and the entree of cogollos, natural tomato, roe and anchovies that had won some local prize, was ok accompanied by a Txomin Etxaniz "txakoli" (basque white wine) bottle. The homemade desserts were also appreciated ...








Finally, in mid-April we celebrated a European meeting of the ERASMUS + EASY project in Bilbao, and ended up having dinner in the Parte Vieja (Old Town). Honestly, nothing was very good, but nothing was wrong either ... we could say that the AMARENA restaurant is correct, with an average price according to what it offers. I thought it was the typical restaurant for foreigners ....
