In winter...the song of the skylark

The premature darkness of all the afternoons, whole days without stopping to rain, cold, humidity ... it's winter in Euskadi!
In any case, we continue working with enthusiasm in our European R & D projects, where in the last weeks we have had to travel to Brno and Glasgow. In Brno we worked on how to transfer knowledge to entrepreneurs from the rest of Europe, in a project called EASY ... and I could see that food in business class is as bad as when traveling in "economy class"...

We traveled to Glasgow for the kick off meeting of another European project (called SIKE-Social Innovation for Knowledge Exchange) related to Social Innovation and the processes of sharing knowledge in Europe. We dined at a restaurant near the Glasgow Caledonian University, its name: Ardnamurchan. Very restrained price (17.95 Pounds), pleasant space, very correct service and food in its menu called Pre-Theater.

A couple of quick notes from this last month of January: first, the last visit to El Serval in Santander with some friends. I felt really nice, as always. Attentive service and great value for money. And the best of everything: the recommendation of the sommelier. An excellent Ribera del Duero at a good price (around € 30); El Canto de la Alondra (The Song of the Skylark). To enjoy it on the nose and in the mouth, I do not know what I liked more ...

And secondly, a couple of whims with which Iñaki Uribe, from Saltsan, allows us to enjoy some weekends. Oysters of excellent flavor and texture coming from Asturias, and a risotto made inside a Parmigiano Reggiano emptied of more than 40kg !!
